Frequently Asked Questions

An .ics file is a digital calendar invite. When someone opens it, the event details—like the date, time, location, and link—automatically save to their Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook. It works on any phone or computer and converts time zones automatically so no one misses a meeting.

Just download and click the file. On an iPhone or Mac, Apple Calendar opens automatically. On Android or PC, opening the file adds it straight to your default calendar app. For Google Calendar on desktop, import it through the calendar settings.

Standard .ics files do not sync live. Once a user adds an .ics file to their calendar, it acts as a static snapshot. If your event date or time changes, you will need to send updated attendees a new .ics file to replace the old one.

Save the generated file, upload it to your website server or file storage, and link to it using a standard download link. For emails, simply attach the .ics file directly to your campaign or host the file online and link a button to the download URL so recipients can add the event with one click.
